Hi girls, welcome to day 8! All on thriving – now that we have understood more about the survival mindset or practices we can now start thinking and creating fertile soil for our thriving by designing our ideal/ day and life.

For today, please watch the video below and do the self-work assignment for tomorrow -which is meant to help you design your ideal day and conditions -which you can already try out tomorrow –

Why is this important – Our ability to understand what feels good, what fills us up with energy and joy helps us create a lifestyle and surroundings that make space for those things and conditions. With a vision of who we want to be and what we want, we are then able to find our way there. Focus on the what and trusting that the how will show up eventually.

So here is my ideal life vision, my vision of thriving- to give you guys an idea of how to create yours-

In my ideal day and life –  I have a peaceful and nurturing mindset, I am mostly content with my life and face challenges constructively. I experience joy on a daily basis and find, engage and create things that fill me with happiness and inspiration. In my ideal life, I have a healthy daily routine, where I incorporate daily practices that set me up for a healthy mind, body and soul. I wear good quality and ethically sourced clothing that feels good and expresses and adorns the person I am.

In my ideal life, I often spend time seeking knowledge and wisdom through books, videos and people around me. In my ideal life, I live amongst nature or I have quick access to it. I live in a house filled with light, space and peacefulness – it is decorated with healthy plants and beautiful comfortable earthy furniture. In my ideal life, I have a herb and vegetable garden that I can get medicine and food from when needed.

In my ideal life, I practice what I know to be good for me, my life and those around me. I eat good and nourishing delicious foods most of the days of the week and I spend time learning new bomb-ass dishes. In my ideal life, I have people around me who are caring, kind, genuine and uplifting – I am a good friend, partner, parent and family member and I share my light with those around me. In my ideal life, I have a healthy work and life balance/intergration.

In my ideal life, I am able to make a living based on my passions (e.g holistic healing, art, writing, creating amazing ass things) and I make time to develop my talents and work on myself. In my ideal life, I make space for mistakes and failure and use them to fuel my growth and wisdom. In my ideal life, I am independent and also a part of a community – I contribute and find support from my community, I am self-sufficient and able to add value to my surroundings economically, physically, spiritually, intellectually and emotionally.

Self-work: Journaling – designing your ideal day:

Use the reflection questions below as inspiration to write down your ideal day/life – add more things according to your desires and wishes.

  • what does my ideal day/life look like
  • How do I wake up?
  • what do I eat?
  • What do I spend my time doing?
  • Who am I with and how do they make me feel?
  • What do I wear and how does it make me feel?
  • What do I put on my skin?
  • What music do I listen to?
  • What do I engage with?
  • Where am I living?
  • How do I feel?
  • How much do I work, with what and why?
  • What is my mental state?
  • What are my rituals?
  • How do I contribute to my community?

For each answer find a way of working it into where you currently are, what you currently have and what you feel capable of doing/incorporating.

Please don´t expect all of this to be perfect of for your day tomorrow to go perfectly, but just by putting it on paper; how we want our ideal daily day/life to be, sets us up for thriving. We are then able to be mindful in our day to day life, of those desires, goals and wishes 🙂

Wishing you all the best for tomorrow and hoping you continue to practise daily, what you wish for in your life <3
